I need to change my Blog Title

So Its been FOREVER since I have made a post. I am thinking about changing the title to The Yearly Life of the Miller's because that's about how often I update. So the last post I made was CANCER! It was when I first found out I had it and now the post after that one is about.... ONE MORE WEEK UNTIL MY LAST CHEMO TREATMENT!!! May 25th will be my last Chemo treatment. WHOOP WHOOP!! It has flown by and gotten better and better every time. My first treatment was horrible. I threw up, I slept, I felt horrible, and it was just awful! My second one I felt like I was going to throw up, I slept, I felt horrible and it was bad. My third treatment I didn't feel like I was going to throw up, I felt ok and it was ok! By my fourth one i had it down pat, I felt good, slept some and it was all good. The fifth one I felt good, slept hardly none and it was basically like life before chemo! The worst part of all of it is taking Pretnizone for 5 days after my treatment! YUCK!!! Can you say NASTY!!! I HATE that stuff it makes everything taste nasty, I can't eat anything sweet because it taste like metal including sweet tea which is just a sin not to be able to drink sweet tea! :) So we are counting down the days to my last one!! As of Tomorrow i will have SEVEN days!! YES!!

By the way after my third chemo treatment I had a PET Scan(2nd one) and it showed NO signs of CANCER left! How amazing how fast GOD answers prayers and believe me he was getting lots of them. Between my family/friends and every church in the surrounding counties I believe he was getting an ear full!! :) I have met so many people on this journey and it seems like one out of two always tell me, hey I know you, you are on our prayer list at church and they will tell me there Church name and I have never heard of it!! AMAZING how the body of Christ comes together when someone needs them!!

CANCER!!

Yep lucky me I have been diagnosed with Subcutanioius Large T-Cell Lymphoma. Not as much fun as winning the lottery I have to say! :) I have so far had a Sonogram (found 20+ swollen lymphnodes); CT Scan that confirmed those were there and no noticable cancer anywhere else(praise God); and a biopsy the day after the CT Scan to determine exactly what type it was(the long name in the beginning of the post). I go today to meet with my Oncologist (Dr. Q) and see about treatment and all the other good details! I will update after the appt.

How am I feeling? Glad you asked! My arm hurts from not using like I should have been after the biopsy and some scar tissue has attached itself to the muscle and now I have to work it off!! OUCH!! My feelings toward the cancer itself? I'm ok with it. My Dr. said I have "a good kind" and its treatable and I will be ok so I am ok with it. God has a purpose for everything so me having this, has a purpose. It just better be a good one! JK!! I really am ok with it, I have prayed about it and we are not all promised tomorrow anyway so you just have to look at the positives. It has brought me closer to HIM and it has made me realized the important things and life and not to take one second for granted. He is going to be there with me every step of way (footprints in the sand) I have a very supportive hubby and family and we are all gonna take it one day at a time and get through this! I am giving it to God and He will handle it!

Braxton's 2nd Birthday

The birthday has come and gone! Braxton had a BLAST!! The firetruck even came and made an appearance at his party. He wasn't to crazy about it at first but once Daddy got him on it he was all smiles after that. He is still talking about it every night. He says "I climb up, I sit on top, they go round and round (the lights that is) and Bye Bye (they left). The way he talks it sounds like the firetruck only stayed for a few min. but it was there for forever. The vol. fire dept. brought out the truck to the party for us. They were the sweetest two men and one of them even put on all his gear and took pictures with the kids. Bless his heart I know he was burning up but he kept insiting that he was fine. The other guy opened all the doors and compartments and explained to us all the equipment and what all it was used for and did. He even let the kids climb on top of the truck and they thought that was the coolest. Well some of them did, some of them didnt want any part of it. The city fire dept. gave us fire man hats, fire safety suckers and coloring books! THEY WERE AWESOME! He got so much stuff and money and he had a blast. I think I was just as tired as he was after the party but it was all worth it!

Braxton's 2nd bday party is tonight and I can't wait. I think he is going to have a blast or I atleast hope so anyway! Here is his cake i finished last night at 1:00. The icing was giving me fits and wasn't cooperating and I was rushed and didn't plan very well but oh well too late now. Hopefully it will taste better than it looks! :)

Well its that time of the year again. Man times flies when kids are growing up... But anyway we are in the middle of planning Braxton's SECOND party or should I say at the end of planning. Anyway we are doing a firetruck theme this year and I finally finished his invites today!! YEAH!! A little late considering the party is next weekend but hey I've been busy what can i say. Just One of Those Days!

So where do I start we have been busy busy and I haven't been posting so let's see.
1) My friend Tess is Pregnant!! WOO HOOO they have been trying for some time and just decided to give up and let God take control and do his will and low and behold she is finally knocked up!! HEHE!!
2) My friend Mollie has left me. :( No I am not happy about it at all, although she seemed to think so or at least that what she was telling everyone. Its lonely back here in my cubbie at work now. He cubbie is now naked, all but her MSU flag which she left I think, just so Kelly would smirk, and shake her head every time she comes back here to my lonely hole and looks over at Mollie's empty desk. I miss the cat stories, the Yo Mamma jokes, the funny gossip, the crazy relationship stories, her unbelievable road trip stories, the mullet pictures, her ghetto purse pictures, the flight cancellation stories, her funny rental cars, her just calling because she is riding, board and alone, her asking me how to do something on the computer, her asking me to look for someone a coupon code, telling her about cool new sights, making her cry over the blogs I read, her sneezing 500 times in 4 seconds and the list goes on and on. It just sucks but in time I guess it will get better, but this place will never be the same..
3) We finally joined the church that we have been going to for several months now. Its awesome and God is really working there. Its just awesome! We are also having Braxton dedicated on Mother's Day and I am helping with Bible School! Its just great! Here is a picture of the women in our church family that went to see Beth Moore, We had a BLAST!!
4) We have had the spring cleaning bug at our house, I don't know what has come over me but I have just been a cleaning fool. I started with our room, which I cleaned so much our room now echo's, scary huh? I went from there to the bathroom and my next one to tackle is Braxton's room. Although I threw a little kink in it this weekend when I started outside and we ended up pulling up the front bushes. Our house now looks naked but bigger.
5) We are getting ready for Braxtons 2nd Birthday. I know its sooo sad to think he is fixing to be 2 but the past 2 years have been AWESOME!! I dont know what we ever did with out him.

Been a while!

So its been a while since I updated. I have been busy painting and getting ready for the tomato fest. in June who I am setting up a booth with a couple of my friends and hopefully makeing a few extra dollars. We are getting close to Braxton's 2nd birthday so I am working on that as well! We are doing a firetruck theme this year and we are having it at the lake. Softball has started YIPPIE!! I am so excited! I love softball season and now that Braxton is older this year and can play and come most of the time when I call him I enjoy it even more. We finally found a church we LOVE and are going to join just haven't gotten around to it yet we were waiting on them to finalize a preacher and they did! :( Everyone there is wonderful and the new preacher is AWESOME!!! If you are looking for a church we would love for you to come! Its small and it doesnt matter what you wear, who your mama and daddy are or what you do for a job, we are very laid back and have a BLAST!! Baby Fischer is finally here!! After years of trying and 9months of waiting for him to get here, he has finally arrived, happy and healthy along with mom and dad!! He weighed 8lbs 3 oz and was 19" long and was welcomed into this world at 12:50pm yesterday 9-29-08!!! Welcome baby FISCHER!!! Congrats Julie and Christopher!! We are so excited for yall!! Jonathan and I went to the hospital last night to check him out and of course check on mom and dad!! They were all doing great and he didnt make a peep the whole time we were there.. Of couse i held him for a short while and he is precious!! I did take some pictures but i didnt want to bother him with the flash so some are dark!!

Nasty Weather

Soo it has been nothing but rain and wind, rain and wind here for the past couple of days!! I love rain but not when I have to drive in it. I would rather be at home in the bed or on the couch with a blanket and my air on low! Thank heavens it was just some rain and wind and nothing bad like Katrina. We did lose power but only for about 2 hours. We were VERY lucky. Other than that we played in a softball tournament Sat. and got our butts kicked but had a blast! We cooked out for Labor Day at my Grandmothers Sunday after church and after we rode 4-wheelers. We had so much left over that we ate again on Monday and just hung out together. Braxton is trying to get better bless his heart he is alittle horse right now but his voice is starting to come back. We also finally got our Ta-Ta Trio shirts in and they are AWESOME!!! They look better than I had imagined. She is doing another order and will be placing it in the middle of Sept. so if you would like a shirt please let me know and I will be sure your name gets on the list. This will probably be the last order and they are only 20.00 and oh so cute and for such a GREAT cause!!

So lately I have been helping Mollie with her fundraising. We have been selling plate lunches on Wednesdays and they have been working out GREAT!! Now she is selling raffle tickets for 1.00 and they have some awesome prizes to give away!! Oh and about The Miller's nothing is really going on right now.. Braxton is cutting some more teeth(feeling yucky) and Jonathan is playing softball on the weekends with practice on the week nights, and for me I am busy helping Mollie and her Ta-Ta Trio raise money for there walk.. 3 Day Walk for a Cure!

It's been a while since I posted and probably no one ever even checks my blog anymore but just in case I am making this post! I have a co-worker and friend (Mollie Cardwell) that has decided to participate in the Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk benefiting the Susan G. Koman for a Cure. I figured even if just one person reads my blog and donates to her it would be worth it! To the right you will see the widget that says "I am walking 60 miles in the breast cancer 3 day" If you click on this it will take you directly to Mollie's donation page. She will appreciate any and all donations. She must raise 2200.00 just to participate in the walk. She will be walking 20 miles for 3 days in October in Atlanta, GA along with 2 of her friends one of whom's mother lost her battle with cancer and whom they are walking in honor of. She will also be accepting a 10.00 donation to place a loved ones name on the back of her shirt that she will be walking in during the walk. 4th of July Festivities

First of all I am thinking about changing my blog name to monthly lifes of the Miller's since I seem to never find time to update this crazy thing. On a different note we had a great 4th of July. Friday Mom, Braxton and I did a little shopping and then ate at the lake and watched a few fireworks. Sat. Jonathan had a softball tournament and my family cooked out. I rented a big water slide that I have been wanting since last year and we had a BLAST!!! It was so cool I am thinking it would be a good idea to rent it at least once a month!! We had it at Bubba and Andi's Sat and we loaded it up and brought it home that night. Sunday we had everyone over at our house and played on it some more all day long. Sunday night we went to Granny's for some Catfish and homemade ice cream and it was devine!! Man I love Granny's catfish!! We had a wonderful weekend and holiday now just if we always had a 3 day weekend everything would be even better!! Later Taters

Fathers Day

So we had a wonderful day yesterday. Braxton and I left Jonathan sleep in and made him breakfast in bed although he chose to bring it back to the kitchen so he wouldnt get syrup on the bed. (thanks honey) We gave him his presents and his cards and let him have his day. He chose to swim so we went swimming and then got out and came inside and we all took a 4 hr. nap!! We got up ran to his dads and his grandfathers and then had supper with my dad and grandfather. I hope all Daddy's had a wonderful fathers day yesterday. Even though I don't get to spend Father's day with my Daddy anymore I do miss him something terrible every day it just seems alittle more difficult on Fathers day. However I am still lucky enough to still have another dad here with me. He treats me like his own and loves me just as much, and as for me I feel the same about him. So i hope you had a wonderful Father's Day as well even if you had to spend Father's Day in your memory with yours. HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all the WONDEFUL Fathers out there and THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!! OUR 1 AND ONLY

So.. Jonathan and I have know since we started dating that we only wanted one child and have never thought different. We had discussed me just having the surgery when I had Braxton but my doctor wouldn't do it. So as of today, Jonathan, being the VERY BRAVE and wonderful father and husband he is commited the ultimate sacrifice and got "fixed". So far so good he is not in any pain and they told him to lay on the couch today and then he could resume regular activity tomorrow. He is such a wondeful HUBBY!! Now I know many of you are probably thinking we have lost our minds and we are too young to do something like this but we have thought long and hard and weighted all of our options and we are very happy with our decision. We are just going to have 1 little spoiled brat that has all of our love!! So if you could keep Jonathan in your prayers that would be wonderful!! Also Braxton is fighting a virus and MAYBE salmonella, we won't know for sure until Friday if it is or not. Bless his heart since Sunday he has had bad tummy problems and high fever and really horrible tummy cramps.. He is just so sad to watch because she is telling us there is nothing we can do except let it run its course.. It will break your heart i tell you.. I will update when we hear more back from his dr. So this past weekend we had Braxton's first birthday party! It was a blast and sad all at the same time. It just amazes me how fast time flies by. Its just not fair, they are suppose to be little and want to sit on your lap and just look up at you forever!! Not running around, climbing on furniture, pulling stuff out of the cabinets, picking up and eating bugs or much less just plain walking. And its like he is picking up a new word every day, its just crazy how fast it goes. So anyway he had a construction party complete with bulldozer and dump trucks and the whole kit and caboodle. I myself, ran my self ragged trying to make it the best birthday party every created in all to figure out he could have cared less that the cake had trucks on it or his smash cake wasn't a 100 percent a replica of a hard had. But I gave it my all and tried my best and I will say it turned out the best it could have possibly turned out minus the homemade ice cream that for some strange reason decided it just wasn't going to freeze that day (always be prepared with Blue Bell, I wasn't however but the show did go on). Now to the good part. He had ATON of presents and was not at all interested in opening them after he received his ride on toy that he just couldn't wait to get out of the box before trying to ride. So mom ended up opening the presents and while he rode around. But we were very thankful for everything he received and he has played with every toy so far however it will take him several months to wear all the clothes. Now on to the presents he received so much I am probably going to leave out some stuff because it was like Christmas morning all over again. On the list we have(big breath) a toy box, a picnic table, 2 Elmo water play mats, a bubble machine, a Elmo sprinkler, Little People zoo complete with the animals and extras, a phone, some book, some puzzles, Doodle Pro, A TON of CLOTHES, some shoes, sand toys, money, 2 ride on toys, a John Deer Tractor ride on, bubbles, a sprinkler hose, fishing pole, baseball glove and ball, some trucks and cars, new bedroom decor, a sandbox, and last but not least the best present of all- the Overall Bill quilt my granny(the one that keeps him during the day) made completely by hand with alittle help for some of the women in the family(my mom, Andi and myself). IT IS BEAUTIFUL.. The picture does it no such justice what so ever. It is so great I think I will just give it its own individual post when i take individual pictures of each square for now you just get the whole picture. He had a blast didn't really dig into his cake like he did for the photo shoot earlier in the week but all in all he was plum tired and passed out when almost everyone had left. Now I only have a yr(which i have now realized flies by) so I must go start planning the next one!! JK!! Later Taters

Well its raining here, AGAIN!! It seems like the pattern for Friday now. Anyway besides the rain, Jonathan and I are going out tonight!! WOO HOO!! We are going to River Fest with another couple for her birthday!!! Yeah some adult time with adult conversations with adult beverages!! On a different note, Braxton's birthday is 2 weeks away!! Sooo its Monday, AGAIN!! I swear they come to often and Fridays do not come often enough!! SOOOooo over the weekend we finished MY VERY OWN SCRAPBOOKING ROOM!! WOO HOO!!! I am so freaking excited I could just yell!! We finally got everything put together and put up and then I stocked it!! I never realized how much stuff I have!! Its crazy!! Although I do not have near about the amount of other peoples i have seen on line but hey I have plenty for me.. Jonathan hasn't put up my shelves yet but what I have at the time will do.. At least I have my own space to call "MINE".. I still have to hook up my computer and my Cricut and then we really will be set!! Sooo here are the pictures...

We have new look!! Well Braxton does.. We have now gotten his first hair cut. I must say he looks sooo cute! He looks like a differnt child he looks so grown. He did so good though, he just sat in my lap and let her wack away and even let her use the trimmers. I was so proud! Other than that we had a great weekend that when by supper fast. We visted our first church (FBC of Terry) in our quest to find a church home and I must say it was wondeful!! We really enjoyed the service and it will def. be hard to find one that tops his sermon. Stormy Friday

Well its stormy and windy today, what a great way to celebrate a Friday! I wanted to go to ASF tonight to crop but I guess I will just stay at home :( .. There is always next time.. I do have good news though, hubby finally agreed to let me use our mud room as MY VERY OWN SCRAPBOOKING ROOM!!! WOO HOO!!! Soooo I got in there and vacuumed it out, cleaned the sink and took everything out of there that does not pertain to scrapbooking (which was everything minus the freezer, couldn't move it or it would be gone too HAHA!!) Soo I need to take before and after photos and post them. I bought some basemolding from where I work on Wednesday and put it down Wed. night!! I must say it looks very good!! We just installed a job here at work with cabinets that had black countertops and laminate and they messed up a few pieces and had them in the dumpster so leave it to the dumpster diving queen as my husband calls me to dig them out!! So now I have my countertop!! WOO HOO!! They are line bored on one side but i am going to put that side down so no one will ever know except me and now you! I also found another small piece that i will cut up for shelves. I went to the new Wal Mart and they already have a clearance isle and I found 2 pieces of black peg board for 4.00 a piece so I picked those up as well!! Now just to get Jonathan to cut the countertop to the right size for me and install them if he does not find time this weekend I will also have another title under my belt - CARPENTER! Now all I need to find is some cheap storage and a stool for my room (hitting the garage sales tomorrow morning) and maybe a rug. I am thinking about getting my cousin to come over and paint some sayings on the wall because i can not stand my writing or painting for that matter.. So I will take pictures this weekend and hopefully post on Monday!! Other than that our weekend consist of maybe going to the zoo, depends on the weather and running by Hobby Lobby to find a fram for my 16X20 picture I had printed of Braxton (the one in my title up top thats on the right) to go over the manel, we are also suppose to go to the dirt track races if they do not get rained out Sat. night. ITS PAYDAY!! WOO HOO!!! Ok so Pay Day also means pay bills day which is the sucky part of it but it also means I can buy my self a happy!! I have been shopping around all morning and have several shopping carts full on different sites.. WHOOPS!! Man this week is flying by!! I guess it seems like it since I have been so busy and I was off 1/2 a day yesterday. My granny had to go to a funeral so I had to go pick up Braxton at lunch and we spent the afternoon at Wal Mart and playing in a mud hole!!

He had so much fun though!! We ate at Grannys last night and got home late. Today me and a couple of the girls have decided at work that we are going to scrapbook at lunch and today was the first day!! It was great getting to scrap at work. Now if I could only find a job that I could scrap as my job!! That would be the ultimate job!! So if anyone knows of one avaliable please let me know!! :) Not much going on besides that, we might go to the zoo Sat. depending on the weather so we will see then. So its Wednesday again.. Middle of the work week finally!! We had a great weekend and Easter. Friday night Braxton spent the night with Nana and Jonathan and I had friends over for some GREAT crawfish!!

We had a wonderful time and finally got to have some adult conversations and beverages! Man how I miss those!! Sat. we had my niece's birthday party to go to. She was turning 2 and it was such a beautiful day outside. Braxton and I both got some sun which I was not even thinking about!! WHOOPS!! But man did he enjoy the cupcakes!!

Sat. evening when we got home we called over the grandmothers and we had our first Easter egg dying!! I saw in my Parents magazine where you could put small children in the tub to dye eggs. That way you had nothing to clean up, you just wash it down the drain. Well it was such a pretty day and I found a baby pool that I had bought along time ago, so we dyed eggs out side.. He had a BLAST!! He was dyed better than some of the eggs but we hide plastic ones so we just did it for fun!!

My mom kept calling him the Hulk but it washed right off with a little soap and water in the tub afterwards!

Sunday we went to church with my grandfather to the Easter singing they had and then came home and ate lunch with Jonathan's mom. We hid eggs outside and then played and hid eggs with our neighbors Brandi and Jamie. I can already tell Braxton is going to have his hands full when he gets older!!

We took a nap and then went to my Granny's for some more egg hunting and for supper!! Man that was some good food!!

Now for the bad stuff!
Had weigh in Monday and had gained a pound. Not to bad since I didn't weigh in last week and I ate 2 big Easter dinners so I am not upset, just have to get going in the right direction again and get FOCUSED!!

Last night we went to the Southern Miss v. Ole Miss baseball game in Pearl. It was Braxton's very first baseball game and I have to say GO EAGLES!! They were loosing the whole time we were there and then we left because little one was getting very sleepy. Found out this morning they ended up tying up the game in the 9th and hitting a home run in the 10th inning to win!! USM TO THE TOP!!

Today my friend Julie went to the dr. in hopes of finding out what the little bean is and no such luck!! Bean is already hard headed like his parents and would not cooperate so until next month its still a guessing game. The good news is, is that everything looks great. He weighs 4 oz and the heart beat is 161!!

Ok so I haven't post in FOREVER!!! Time flies when you are having fun. So whats been happening?? Umm yeah not much thats why I haven't posted! I did weigh in this week, didnt last week because of the bad weather but anyway i did loose 3.5 lbs!! 2.5 more to go to be to 200!! I told my hubby i was celebrating by going shopping. His reply, "You go shopping every weekend, what will make this any different". HA!! Yeah he loves me!! Anyway not much to post. Trying to get ready for Braxton's birthday, dont want it to creep up on me like this last year has already!! Man it feels like i just brought him home from the hospital. Well its Valentines Day!! I HATE VALENTINES!! My hubby is sweet and everything but I just hate this day. I think some florist or candy maker made up the day to make more money!! I hate flowers because they are a waste of money and they are going to die. Not to mention they mark them up 3 times higher than normal. I hate candy because I am on a diet and I hate stuffed animals because they are dust collectors that are pointless. So anyway I did buy everyone something and I will say Happy Valentines Day, I just don't agree with it. Jonathan has made us reservations at Mitchell's in Brookhaven. If you have not been there you MUST go and ask for Rachel as your server!! SHE IS THE BEST!!! Anyway its a Steak and Seafood rest. with dim lighting but you can wear blue jeans, at least we do). Its pricey but what nice rest. isn't we can eat for around 70.00.. And have some to take home!! So anyway I updated our picture with My Valentine (Future Heartbreaker) HA!! Thunderstorms on Tuesday

Well had weigh in last night and down another 1.5 lbs now at 207 WOO HOO!! Also I have WONDEFUL, GREAT, EXCITING news!! My friend who has been trying for nearly 4 yrs with fertility drugs and everything is OFFICIALLY PREGNANT!! I couldn't be happier!! Jonathan said last night that is he thinks he is just as happy for them now as he was when we were pregnant!! Oh I just cannot being to tell you how happy and greatful she is right now!! It is wonderful and WITHOUT the help of the drugs!! She stopped taking them at the end of Oct. because she said she needed a break and didn't want to deal with the let down during Christmas and all she wanted to enjoy it. Well God showed her that HE IS the ruler of all and that his work will be done on HIS time (without any ones help). It is wonderful and we are all soooo excited!! Now I just pray for her and her baby and her hubby and for a safe pregnancy and I cannot wait to start planning the baby shower and shopping for little things!! YEAH I AM SOOO EXCITED!!!!

Well its Tuesday the day after WW weigh in. I am down another 1/2 lb. not great but better than gaining! I will take any loss. But this week I am going to stick to it.. NO cheating not even a piece of gum without counting it, not even licking the spoon without counting it!! I will look and feel better about my self bf we go on vacation which is coming up fast than I thought it would!! I feel like I am getting something. NOT GOOD! My throat starting hurting yesterday but hey with 30 degree temp on day and 78 the next what do you expect. Just as long as I do not pass it on in my house I will be OK!! Now to do some work and try to file our taxes so I can pay for our vacation and hubby needs some new tires :( Its always something!!

Also some GREAT news I just read on my new friends blog (she is on a weight loss journey as well) she has put on a pair of jean today for the first time since Thanksgiving!! What an insperation and a motivator!! She keeps me going and motivated daily!! ~Thanks~

Thirsty Thursday

Well not really just the only name I came up with. I really wish I was thirsty so I could get all of my water in. Well I haven't posted since Monday's weigh in. I LOST ANOTHER 1.5 LBS!!! Now down 5 LBS!! WOO HOOO!!! I'm getting there I have another 10 lbs to be under 200 and I and making that a celebration day!! Took Braxton to the dr. it feels like a weekly thing. He has a viral infection, so there is nothing I can do for it just wait it out. He has a awful rash ALL over him that looks bad and looks like it would itch sooo bad but she said it don't. But anyway it looks like the weather is fixing to get REALLY ugly here so I will wrap it up and try to get some work done. LATER!

Yes I guess it is, but it is almost over. I have WW tonight, didnt get to go last week Braxton was sick and had to run and get him something for it. Sooo I am sure tonight will be really ugly!! I have kinda fell off the band wagon so I HAVE to get back on. We have set our date for our vacation and it is fastly approching. We are going to Florida(ugh) in May (did I mention I HATE Florida) anyway, Jonathan loves it and I want to try to get some good shots of Braxton on the beach and some new family pics so I guess I will just tuck in my bottom lip and go along. I just hate sand, being in a bathing suit in public, being in the sun for no apparant reason, sweating and just being icky but I guess after I get down there and shop it will make it all better!! :)

Middle of the week- Catch up

Ok, so much has happened since I last blogged I dont even know where to being. Last Fri. at work was such a bad day, I was sooo glad for it to be over and just go home. I got home and we decided to run to Wal Mart and pick up a few things. We got home and got settled in and Braxton went to sleep so we laid him on our bed as we always do and put pillows around him while we do other chores before bed. Jonathan was washing dishes while i was working on Braxtons birthday invites on the computer when I heard a loud thud. I thought the thud was Jonathan in the kitchen and about that time my heart dropped and this loud scream came out!! It was Braxton, he had crawled off of our bed and hit the floor on his back. I had no idea if he had hit his head or what so i freaked out and got dressed and we had our first ER visit. They said he should be fine and just to watch him.

Sat. morning we woke up to snow!! Yeah I know, snow in Mississippi is VERY rare. We went to Granny's and sewed all day and then I went out to eat with mom and Granny while Ms. Betsy watched Braxton, Jonathan was at the deer camp. She said she heard something strange but just assummed it was the heat cutting on about 20 min later she looked towards our front door and there was water running across the floor. The hose going to the ice maker had popped of and water flooded our house luckly it didnt get into any of the bedrooms but Jonathan mopped all night and we had 20 soaking wet towels after it was all said and done.

Sun. something was bothering Braxton and we got 2 hours of sleep all night..

Monday I was out of gas and drove Jonathans truck to work and left my WW's stuff at home so I didnt weigh in which was probably good after the weekend I had I fell off the band wagon. Now just to get back on track and do better.. Now its Wed. and I am just now catching up and catching up on my sleep but it will all work out in the end. Just think it could have been SOOO much worse!!

I will start off with some GREAT news Braxton took his first steps last night!!! YEAH!! He took 2 steps from me to my mom and then 3 and then FIVE!! Dad wasnt there to see it so when we got home and Braxton was asleep so of course he had to wake him up to see the action!! Anyway he did it for him to he walked to him and Jonathan was SOOO excited!! Now for today!!

Today has been a HORRIBLE day. I just hope it ends soon!! Work has been HELL and everything at work IS HELL!! Just to find another job would be great but then i would probably have something to complain about there too!! O Well you can't always be happy i guess!

Hump Day

So its finally Wednesday!! I have so much to do at work but I just cannot get motivated. Anyway I did good with my exercise yesterday and last night and did good with my food. I walked durning lunch almost a mile and then last night I did my DVD but still didnt finish the whole work out. Its raining today so i guess that is going to scratch the walking at lunch routine but I do have a huge glass of water with me and I am drinking it all by 5:00. I made the WW devil food cake with the diet coke last night and I must say it is WONDERFUL!! It is sooo moist and yummy!! Jonathan and i did sit ups last night after my DVD so he is doing good with his food too. Just not working out but he gets plenty of exercise at work!! Braxton even had some of the WW devils food cake mix and loved it. It worked out great because it didnt have eggs in it so he could eat the raw batter!! This morning its cold and yucky out side so I wish I was at home in bed but I guess having a job is much better!! Later!! Oh yeah and i finally posted my NASTY "before" pictures!! I know you are sooo excited!!

Ok so yesterday was weigh in!! I did good!! 3.5 LBS!! YEAH!!! That just keeps me motivated to do more.. I did treat my self to Wendy's, I won't lie, it was not that good but the fries were WONDERFUL!! I did this last time I did WW. I ate out the night of weigh in for a treat to my self and then i have all week to do right and it worked so there!! I did walk 1/2 mile at lunch and WILL do my Cardio Biggest Looser workout tonight and walk again tomorrow at lunch. Until then!! I promise I will post my FAT pictures as soon as our phone is fixed at home and I can!!

Ok so I finally started back to Weight Watchers. Last night I went to the first meeting of my new life. I weighed in at 214 which is not as much as I weighed before when I started the first time so that was a plus but its still way over what I want to weigh. Sooo I watch Biggest Looser and I decided if they can do it so can I. Soo if they can get on National TV and show there fat to the world and it makes them loose weight then so can I. So, I got Jonathan to take pictures of me to make myself sick every time I look at them. This morning I didnt eat breakfast (I know really bad) I started at a bad time I don't go to the grocery time Thrus. so there is nothing in the house I want to waste my points on. I have drank 2 glasses of water today which is by far WAY better than what I normally do. For lunch I ate a cup of chili and 5 crackers now to decide on what to scrounge up for supper.

Well its finally friday again!! WOO HOO!! Didn't think it could get here quick enough! Braxton is on antibotics again to knock out this upper resp. problem and hopefully he will fully recover and the weather will straighten out and we will be done with all this sickness!!

Monday we have a check up with the Ears Nose and Throat Spec. to check on the tubes he put in so wont be at work!! YEAH!! (Do a little dance here)

Anyway not much going on in my world. Trying to decided on wether or not to try out for the design team as ASF!! I think i will wait until I get alittle more scrappin under my belt and can get better at doing my own thing. As of right now i just basically scrap lift but hey its my scrapbook and as long as I am happy who cares!!

Back to the grinding stone

Sooo its a NEW YEAR and I am back to work! Fun Fun!! Anyway we had a good New Years Eve. Went to bed around 2:30 but we had some fun times with friends that was def. needed. Braxtons love the fireworks even though I was too cheap to buy very many so I only spent 20.00 and got 2 fireworks. Yeah they were the big ones but still 2/20.00 is just rediculous!! I now remember why I hate them, they are a rip off but hey it was his first NYE so I had to get at least some he could see and enjoy. Next time I think I will just wait and take him to a Braves game on Fri. night get WAY more than two and its not even 20.00.

We also have another new tooth so that makes 2 now(the bottom) two. He is feeling really puney bless his heart he is just not the same when he is quite and not active but hopefully he will be better tomorrow and back to himself.

I do have pic.'s to post but I left my camera at home so I will have to work on those tomorrow..

NY's resolutions:
1. To only go shopping once a month for anything other than grocerys(2x's a mth)
2. pay off the credit card
3. stick to Weight Watchers this time and become healthy (notice I didn't say diet)

Ok so I finally broke down and started a blog. Now, just to find the time to post to it! It seems like everyone is doing it so guess who decides to jump on the band wagon!! Any way now that Christmas is over hopefully I can find the time to keep you updated with our family.

This year was Braxton's very first Christmas. We have a really big family so we have been non stop since 2 weeks ago basically. First we had Christmas snacks at my Pop's sister's house, we left there and drove over to Jonathan's dad's house and opened presents. Boy did Braxton get too much but he had a ball. If he had only known what was coming in the next couple of days! My friend Vanda and cousin Rachel came over and we made Christmas goodies while Braxton played in his fort I made for him under the table (he is crawling now, so i wanted him to be in view).

So anyway he played with his new toys from Paw Paw Randy while we baked. Christmas Eve we always go to my Granny's house for supper and to open presents. While eating supper we found BRAXTONS FIRST TOOTH!! Braxton did not have a good nap that day so in the middle of opening presents he passed smooth out , only later to awaken and get back in the mood. We left there and ventured home to set out our first cookies for Santa. Santa came and left a huge pile at our house and ate his cookies. Although Braxton didn't want to get up, we got him up around 8:00 and opened presents from Santa and then had Christmas with his Gran. We then went to my Aunts house for Christmas breakfast (fam. tradition). We left there and went home and got dressed and went to Jonathan's Baw Baw for lunch and then it was to my moms for more presents and then to my Granny's again for left overs!! WHEW!! Are you tired yet? Anyway Braxton's first Christmas was very exciting and tiring all at the same time, and I don't believe he will ever play with all of his toys he received. I hope everyone had a great Christmas like us and is recuperating just fine.
